New Patients
New patient visits are designed to move efficiently from evaluation to decision-making. The goal is to identify the most likely pain generator, review appropriate treatment options, and determine whether targeted treatment is clinically appropriate.
This practice is interventional and procedure-capable, but not procedure-automatic. Recommendations are individualized based on history, examination, and imaging when relevant.
About Network Spine
Network Spine is an osteopathic spine, sports, and interventional pain practice in Midtown Manhattan focused on clear diagnosis, individualized treatment planning, and selective use of image-guided procedures when clinically appropriate.
Care is not protocol-driven. Each recommendation is based on the history, examination, imaging when relevant, functional goals, and the patient’s preference for reasonable treatment options.
For more detail on the practice philosophy, physician background, and clinical approach, visit About Network Spine.
Who This Practice Is Designed For
Network Spine is designed for patients who want a focused medical evaluation, clear clinical reasoning, and an efficient plan for spine, joint, nerve, muscle, or sports-related pain.
Precise Diagnosis
For patients seeking a clear understanding of the likely source of symptoms through history, examination, imaging review when relevant, and clinical reasoning.
Thoughtful Care
For patients who want recommendations explained clearly, with reasonable non-surgical options discussed rather than a one-size-fits-all plan.
Individualized Treatment
Treatment may include osteopathic manipulative treatment, corrective exercise, medication review, physical therapy, image-guided injections, or other targeted procedures when clinically appropriate.
This practice is not structured for routine medication management, chronic opioid prescribing, or isolated prescription services.
What to Expect
Visits are structured to move efficiently from evaluation to decision-making, with an emphasis on diagnostic clarity and appropriate treatment planning.
Before Your Visit
Appointments are typically requested through the website and scheduled after review. For scheduling assistance, patients may also contact the office by phone or email. Prior imaging or reports may be helpful but are not required.
Initial Evaluation
Initial evaluations are typically scheduled for 30–45 minutes. The first visit includes a focused history, targeted examination—with or without diagnostic ultrasound when appropriate—and review of prior imaging or records when available, followed by discussion of likely pain generators and next steps.
Treatment Planning
Treatment decisions are made through a shared decision-making process. When image-guided injections or other procedures are appropriate, they may be offered alongside discussion of reasonable non-procedural options, risks, timing, and alternatives. Recommendations are individualized through osteopathic evaluation and clinical findings rather than applied routinely.
Follow-Up
Follow-up is individualized based on clinical progress and treatment response. Visits are typically focused on reassessment, refinement of the treatment plan, and, when appropriate, progression of care or selective intervention.
Traveling to the Practice
For patients seen from outside New York City, including from other regions or internationally. Care is structured to be efficient, and when appropriate, evaluation and treatment may be coordinated to reduce the need for multiple visits.
